We arrived late at lunchtime while we were walking around the city and Mr. João welcomed us and treated us like his own. The starters were the best ham, the chop was divine accompanied by ham rice. The dessert was to die for.Definitely the best meal I had in Montalegre.

Mr. João's friendliness meant that we didn't even think about looking for another place to have dinner. We followed his suggestion and were not disappointed. The meat was tender, juicy and really tasted like meat. One of the advantages of coming to the interior of the country. We were treated like children. The quality-price ratio is excellent.

An interesting tradition to take part in. The biggest challenge is getting around on foot, because people seem like ants, they appear and are everywhere.
